It’s the season for senior portraits and I’m ready!
I always love this time of year-late summer and early fall, because it means I get to meet lots of new seniors and shoot at new places. I love senior portraits for the way they help me expand my creativity, as well as seeing the unique personalities of each graduate that I work with!
I think Melissa’s senior portraits are now on my list of favorite portraits in my portfolio! Melissa found me through social media about a year ago and asked me to shoot some photos for her and her boyfriend, who is in the military, and was home for a few days around Christmas. I enjoyed my time with them so much, and was thrilled when Melissa asked me to shoot her senior portraits for her this summer!
Melissa is graduating from Longwood University after next semester, and has some exciting plans for the future! And although she could probably lift both me and my camera bag over her head with one hand, this girl knows how to dress up well! We shot some more formal portraits along the columns at Longwood University, and then headed over to a field close to Farmville to do some casual photos. The sun was so pretty and golden, and I loved how each of these locations complimented Melissa’s style.
Here are some of my favorites! Melissa I’m excited for you-keep up the good work!
