Preston and Becca celebrated their one year anniversary in June! I’m a huge fan of photos in the city, (maybe it’s because I take so many photos in country fields?) so I was ecstatic when Becca asked me to do a session for them in Downtown Cleveland while I was in Ohio for the weekend!
Becca is a Southern girl from Virginia, Preston is from Ohio, and after they got married they moved to Cleveland where Preston will be finishing up medical school. They love city life and are always up for a new adventure and they SO fun to be around! I remember their wedding well, not because there was a torrential downpour (which there was) but for the fact that they didn’t let it ruin their plans one bit! They enjoyed their wedding to the fullest despite the rain, and I loved that!
When Becca told me they chose Playhouse Square in Downtown Cleveland for their session I didn’t know what to expect. Except for the engagement session I had done the night before, I had never even set foot in Cleveland! I wasn’t disappointed. WOW. Playhouse square is a theatre district in Cleveland that also is the largest performing arts center in the United States next to New York City. The block is lined with theaters, sparkling glass and white buildings, and my favorite part, a chandelier right in the middle of the street! We even took a few photos inside one of the theaters and I loved the look! This country girl was pretty happy that evening, to say the least.
(Preston and Becca have great style and I told them they looked like movie stars, 30 minutes later a random stranger asks to take a picture with them because he was sure they were famous actors! It was quite amusing to say the least!)
Happy 1 year Preston and Becca! You guys are the best. Come visit Virginia soon, ok?
