Maisie’s senior portrait session was one of the most fun and creative portrait sessions I’ve done this season! I was excited when Maisie told me she wanted to do something different and unique, and asked if we could take some of her photos in an old historic home in Buckingham Virginia. I love shooting in locations that stretch my creativity, and when seniors want to do something a little out of the ordinary!
Maisie is so classy! I love the lace dress that she chose for her session, because totally fit the style of this historic house. Antique furniture and cracked walls, along with the light pouring in the big windows made me a happy girl 🙂 I grew up in an 1800’s stone house and I’ve always loved historic homes and the way that they are laid out. Maisie’s little dogs also made an appearance in a few photos, which I thought was super cute!
Yes, this house has a green room! How cool is that?! Doesn’t it make you feel like you stepped into the 1800’s?
We went outside for the rest of the session, because this house was surrounded by some beautiful landscape! (Also, it’s always a good idea to bring your best friend to your senior portrait session; Maisie and Cynthia got some fun photos together!)
We finished up on the back porch, with a cute sundress and hat, as the sun was going down. Ahh so pretty! Maisie you are beautiful, and I hope your senior year is your best year yet! Thanks for spending your evening in front of my camera-it was so much fun! 🙂
