October Anniversary Session | Tyler & Margaret

You know how every now and then you meet a person that you instantly connect with and think: “we are going to be friends.” That’s how it was when I first spent time with Margaret after I moved to Virginia. I was new to the area and didn’t know many people, and had left some incredible close friendships in Pennsylvania when I moved. I was praying that God would send me a friend, someone I could connect with on a deep level. I’m so thankful that we met! Not only are we neighbors (like, within walking distance) but Margaret is a talented photographer and second shoots for me frequently. Rarely does a week go by that we don’t go walking together, or grab coffee, or pop over to each other’s houses for some reason or another. She is one of those comfortable friends and we’ve had some pretty great times together.

I photographed Tyler and Margaret’s October wedding 6 years ago and it was such an honor to shoot some photos for them on the farm celebrating their anniversary! I shot some film and the evening was golden and beautiful. Here are a few of my favorites.
