Engagement Session at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts
Today is a freezing winter day and pouring rain, so I decided it’s a perfect day to sit down with some hot tea and blog some sessions I’ve photographed recently! Keith & Khristina’s engagement session at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts was beautiful, but not because of the weather! It was very cold and steadily raining the entire time! It was hard to know what to do….since it was in Richmond we had both driven a long way, and to call it off would have been so disappointing. So we decided to go for it! It was a huge challenge to work with the weather, but the photos turned out so dreamy.
I went much faster than I usually do, but Keith & Khristina were champs and didn’t mind the rain. I even had a chance to shoot a roll of film! I loved their outfit choices, and Khristina’s gorgeous red hair. The final photos up on a parking garage, with their formal outfits, were some of my favorites.
Enjoy a few favorites from this stunning couple’s engagement session at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts!
Stay posted for photos of Keith & Khristina’s wedding in Roanoke this Spring! Khristina is a talented florist (we actually met at a wedding-check out her work at Selah Ray Florals!) and I have no doubt their wedding at Belle Garden Estate is going to be full of beauty. Can’t wait to celebrate with you Keith & Khristina!
