Engagement Session on the farm | Jenn & Josh

6 years ago, Jenn welcomed me into the Lapp family as as sister. And even though I get called Jenn all the time now and she gets called Jess (we both answer to both…people can’t wrap their minds around a Jess Lapp and a Jenn Lapp in the same family) I gained a sweet friend and a sister in her and it helped Virginia to feel like home much sooner than I expected. Jenn is one of the most encouraging people I know. Positive, joyful, fun, and always ready to give 100 percent to whatever life brings. Seeing her with someone strong and steady like Josh just seems so right.

Jenn is the last of the siblings to get married so we always wondered who the guy would be…none of us guessed it would be the guy she knew for years but didn’t really “know.” I think everyone is still surprised that Jenn and Josh ended up together and very thrilled! I’m so excited for these two and to welcome Josh as the newest brother in law. He’s already accepted our weirdness and humor so things are definitely on the right track! 🙂

We shot their engagement photos at Josh’s farm…it has a beautiful view, a pond, and perfect evening light. Josh’s vast knowledge of horses is beyond what I can understand but the horses gave us some dreamy photos that kind of give me a Snowy River vibe (anyone remember that movie??) and I’m absolutely in love with what we captured.
