Meet Karen & Tristan! Their Knight’s Gambit Vineyard engagement session was truly everything that I want in a session! A gorgeous mountain view, bright sunlight, and a classy couple who are totally themselves in front of the camera!
Karen & Tristan met a few years ago when they both worked at The Mudhouse, a cafe in Downtown Charlottesville. (I’ve been to the Mudhouse only once but I had the best latte I’ve ever had in my life. They don’t just make coffee, they are coffee EXPERTS. Highly recommend!) Although Karen & Tristan don’t call Charlottesville home anymore, they will be getting married there in December! I can’t wait to celebrate with them at the beautiful Old Metropolitan Hall!
Karen had her hair and makeup done for her session (brides take note, this is a GREAT idea!) and her pink dress gave the photos a nice pop of color. I love how the light filtered in through these trees!
I loved how this grey barn wall made a pretty, neutral backdrop!
The sun was setting and we finished the session in the vineyard and got were my favorite photos of the evening! I love how soft and romantic these are. Charlottesville views get me every time. And look at Karen’s ring!!
The view with the sunset was JUST SO gorgeous……had to take a selfie!
I loved your session Karen & Tristan! You guys are the most classy, awesome, coffee-loving vegetarians that I’ve ever met and I can’t wait till your wedding 🙂
Thanks so much to the wonderful people at Knight’s Gambit vineyard for letting me shoot here! I loved every second of it!
