Wedding Color Palettes you’ll love for 2020 | Jessica Lapp Photography
Being a wedding photographer, I’ve seen a lot of weddings with a lot of different styles. And I love them all! I wanted to share with you a few color palettes that you might enjoy, especially those of you who are planning their own wedding! These color palettes are so beautiful and they are all different…I’ve always loved the way colors can accent each other and together, become a work of art. Enjoy some wedding color inspiration!
First up-mauve & cream! Mauve is one of my very favorite colors. I loved these bridesmaid dresses and the luxurious florals by Springvale Floral! This wedding palette was perfect for summertime, and had an intimate, fine art feel.
Switching it up a little, to a winter palette! If you are getting married during the winter months, please book me as your photographer. Just, please do. I just LOVE winter weddings! Rich green, black and white was the palette for this wedding, and was SO classy. And we even had snow! Black bridesmaid dresses and those black suits, with the snow…perfect.
Florals: Pinewood & Posies
I’ve seen pale blue several times this year! I love this color for bridesmaid dresses. It’s so elegant and soft. This wedding was full of peach accents, in the florals and details, and the guys wore light grey, which went perfectly with the blue. If I did my wedding again, I would probably have my bridesmaids wear this exact shade of blue 🙂 It’s just so pretty!
Florals: Colonial Florist
Rich burgundy was the primary color for this elegant Fall wedding in Charlottesville, with cream in the florals to accent. I loved the full bouquets and the light grey that the guys wore. This deep red elevates the look of a wedding so much and is extremely classy! The bride’s gold details were also a beautiful touch.
Florals: Southern Blooms
Another of my favorite Spring wedding color palettes….this one is not quite purple but not quite mauve either! I loved the colorful, bohemian style of this wedding and the accents of cream, coral, and light pink in the bouquets from Pinewood & Posies. The perfect Spring wedding inspiration right here!
Another example of blue dresses, but a bit more of a powder blue than the previous example. The orange in the bouquets by Sparrows Floral Design was stunning! (If you’ve every studied the color wheel, remember how orange is a complimentary color to blue? :)) Blue is such a versatile color for any season, and this wedding was in July!
And last but certainly not least, a palette of pink, cream, and blush! This was another Spring wedding and when I look at the color palette I think “delicate.” Pale pink bridesmaid dresses and blush and cream florals with accents of deep red made this wedding palette perfect for Spring and Summer.
Florals: University Florist
I hope you enjoyed these and gained some inspiration for yourself! You can always pin this photos to your Pinterest board if you don’t want to forget them! And as always, thanks for following along.
