A Waterfront Engagement Session

Last week I travelled to North Carolina to photograph Reese & Abby’s Waterfront engagement session at Lake Gaston! It was a warm, serene summer evening and the clouds were rolling in. The colors of the sky and water blended perfectly on the horizon. I love how these photos capture the feelings of that evening, and Reese and Abby’s sweet relationship.

Somehow, time and time again I get to photograph couples who love and care about the beautiful elements of a wedding, but those things don’t get in the way of their true priority: relationships. Their families are close, and they share deep values. Abby and Reese are no exception. I loved getting to know them during their engagement session and am so excited to be a part of their wedding day!

Reese and Abby are getting married at the beautiful Trump Winery in Charlottesville next Spring, and I can’t wait to be there.
