2025 has been such a rewarding year. We welcomed our second child in April and I made the decision to scale back on weddings over the summer to be fully present with my kids. We had an intentional, slow, beautiful year..a few weddings, lots of family portraits. And what incredible families I’ve had this year!
Past wedding clients, neighbors, friends, referrals. First babies, milestones, anniversaries, family pets, these portrait sessions covered it all. Most of my sessions were at our farm on beautiful golden evenings. It is such a gift to step out into my backyard to work! Other clients brought me into their home. Some travelled hours to me, others live a few miles down the road. I saw incredible examples of healthy, wholesome families, strong marriages, well-loved children. I think that is what made this year so rewarding.
