Emily & Ryan wanted a day that was natural and relaxed, a celebration that embodied their laid-back selves and genuine love for people. “He is empathetic, compassionate, open-minded.” Emily told me. In their personal vows to each other she told him how she felt safe and truly understood. Ryan said of Emily, “I love her kindness. She sees the best in people.”
Emily and Ryan worked closely with their designer & planner Laura (Of Lace and Linen) to craft an elegant, guest-focused wedding at The Inn at Willow Grove in Orange Virginia, a charming boutique hotel in the foothills of the Blue Ridge. Following a private ceremony in the boxwood garden, guests sipped cocktails named after Ryan & Emily’s beloved pets and toasted the couple from reception tables overflowing with Autumn florals.
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Poland! Hospitality, elegance, whimsy, a lively party-you wanted it all, and you got it. You both deserved the beauty of this day!
