Intro to Weddings Workshop 2023

One on one mentorships are something I’ve been passionate about for a long time. Surviving and thriving in the wedding industry as a photographer takes a lot of work and determination and I remember so well the feeling I had when I started. I just wished I had someone to walk alongside me and teach me the ropes.

I’ve offered one on one mentorships for several years now but earlier this year I decided to take it a step further and plan a workshop. Where beginner photographers could learn, ask questions, shoot content with me, and get to know others in the industry.
My cousin Hadassah with Thistle Do Flower Co crafted the beautiful floral design and I used my Grandma’s gorgeous old china plates (how fun is that?!) to create the tablescape. We ended the evening with a styled shoot with our classy bride and groom Parker & Jessica in beautiful Lynchburg Virginia.

This workshop was a challenge for me in many ways but so incredibly worthwhile. I loved meeting and working with a handful of photographers who are passionate about their craft, willing to learn, and who love beauty like I do.
