Matt & Victoria | Madison at the Mill Wedding

Matt & Victoria’s wedding was a beautiful blend of classic black and white and pops of vivid color, romantic details and bold industrial style. When I got my film scans back I was completely in love with the photos, and how the medium of film so perfectly captured Matt & Victoria’s wedding vibe.

Shooting this wedding was a huge honor because Victoria is a photographer herself! Photography is not the only thing we have in common. We share similar values and goals for life and marriage…we found that out back in 2019 when we first met up for coffee and ended up talking for hours. Having friends in the industry that you connect with on a deep level is something that I don’t take for granted. Photographing Victoria as a bride AND as a friend made this day so incredibly special!

The first look. This moment never, ever gets old.

After the ceremony we snuck off for some golden hour photos. It had been cloudY ALL day so I was completely shocked when the clouds parted immediately when we got to the photo location. The timing of the sun couldn’t have been more perfect and those few minutes we took after the ceremony gave us my favorite photos of the entire day.

The gorgeous reception space at Madison at the Mill! Matt & Victoria did the most incredible, beautiful first dance that was totally THEM.

Wow guys, what a magical day. You deserve each other and I cannot wait to see where life takes you!!
