Salem Chapel Wedding | Elijah & Savannah

Salem Chapel is a beautiful little historic church in the heart of Virginia. There are so many of these chapels in the South and I love that this one is being used for weddings. Small church weddings used to be so common, and photographing this gave me a nostalgic feeling. (Anyone else constantly want to go back to yesteryear?)

Elijah and Savannah have that young love that makes my photos come alive.  She is creative, softspoken, beautiful, peaceful. He is structured, outgoing, up for a challenge. He is a Marine. She is an interior designer (Oh, and an artist and florist. Her talent is inspiring!)

Elijah has 8 siblings, and all of them were in the bridal party! I enjoyed watching their family dynamic…close knit and fun. They were here to celebrate Elijah and Savannah and they did it with joy!

Photographing this wedding was a treat! A down to earth party full of beautiful details.
