Farm Session on Film | Mother Daughter Session

I’ve photographed dozens of sessions here at our farm and I think you all know how I feel about them. (In Insert heart eyes.)

But I’ve wanted to do a farm session on film for a long time and I finally did it! Ramie and her girls were the perfect models for this and I absolutely love the soft, almost ethereal look of these images. They give me the feeling of innocent childhood and were exactly what I had envisioned for this session.

I know a lot of people say you can’t even tell a difference between film and digital but when you look at the skin tones and soft creamy colors I beg to differ. Also, I literally edited this entire gallery in about 10 minutes. Those film scans just are so perfect and require minimal editing.

All of these were shot on Portra 400 scanned by Photo Vision.

Ramie, Juniper and Luna, you three are beautiful.
