Historic Rock Ford Wedding | Tim & Deanna

Historic Rock Ford Wedding | Tim & Deanna

Relaxed elegance is how I would describe Tim and Deanna’s wedding. Beautiful details, coffee in china tea cups, lace, deep pink peonies on the reception tables. But also corn hole in the yard, children running around, conversations around the fire pit in the evening hours, ice cream cones, catching up with friends. It was just perfect.

Historic Rock Ford is a gorgeous property featuring a 1700’s home and huge Sycamore trees that make a lovely ceremony backdrop. In the evening, we went down to the river to do some additional portraits…don’t miss them because they are some of my FAVORITES OF ALL TIME! (I shot Tim & Deanna’s engagement session at Rock Ford too, in the dead of winter! Still beautiful, but I loved seeing it in a different season. You can view their engagement session here!)

Oh, did I mention Deanna is my cousin? Photographing her wedding was a huge honor, and it was so fun to have her in front of my camera as a bride. It was also such a treat to see so many of my cousins and extended family there. There is something really sweet about photographing once in a lifetime moments for the people who are closest to you.

Enough from me….scroll through some of my favorites! (Many of these photos are shot on film, which I LOVE.)

The reception had such a relaxed and fun vibe….guests chatted outside the tent and sat around the fire pit drinking coffee out of china tea cups. The kids played cornhole in the yard and everyone was holding each other’s babies. It was sweet!

And yes, that’s my sister with my little Evy! 🙂

Tim & Deanna I’m so happy for you guys! It was truly an honor to have a small part in your beautiful wedding day. And Tim, welcome to the cousin clan!

xoxo,
Jess
