A Spring Wedding at Trump Winery

It was one of those perfect April days in Virginia; sunny and 70 and hardly a cloud in the sky. The atmosphere in the bridal suite was charged with excitement and a bit of nervousness, but Logan was poised and elegant as her mom helped her into her wedding dress and she put on her finishing touches. A Spring Wedding at Trump Winery…what a dream of a day this was!

The chapel at Trump Winery is one of Charlottesville’s hidden gems. The ornate painted ceiling gives a European vibe and the tall windows bring in lovely natural light.

“We visited venues all over Charlottesville. But this was the only one that made her eyes light up.”

The patio overlooking the mountains was the perfect spot for the outdoor ceremony. Nick & Logan’s personal vows were touching, and certainly not without tears. Having children changes your entire perspective towards each other, and commitment takes a new meaning.

The year has brought incredible change for these two…planning a wedding, welcoming their first baby, and relocating to a new home across the country. While hearing their story I was so inspired by the way Nick & Logan have handled the stress and hard things and have grown together instead of apart.

Following cocktail hour on the lawn, guests walked to the beautiful reception in the Grand Hall. Family and friends came from all over the country and were excited to celebrate! DJ Tobler kept the dance floor full and the reception was fun and energetic until the end.

Congratulations to the most beautiful couple! Nick & Logan, thank you for inviting me to play a part in your authentic celebration. Truly a day to be remembered! Also, you said Logan, can we do it all over again?
