Nate & Mackenzie’s Spring Wedding

Nate & Mackenzie were married at the beautiful Persimmon Creek Barn, loved and supported by their closest friends and family. It was a such an honor for me to photograph this day as a cousin (by marriage) and to attend as a guest as well as a photographer!

We had eyes on the weather all week and it was not looking good..a huge storm was making its way across the state. We were totally prepared for a full day of rain, but by the time the ceremony started the sun came out and we had the prettiest light, and even got an incredible golden hour!

Mackenzie’s creative touch was on every part of this day. She is spunky, fun, beautiful, and Nate is her strong & steady. Their desire is to glorify God in their marriage and create a life and family that honors HIM. What a gift.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant  or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.  Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
