My Top Photos from 2023

I’m excited to share my top photos from 2023! The past year sent me some incredibly sweet clients, beautiful sunsets, elegant wedding designs and stunning wedding venues in Charlottesville, Richmond, and beyond. Every year just gets better and I am so grateful for the opportunity to do this job. I love the variety it brings. The chance to be creative, to work with people, to be challenged, to learn and grow, and to serve. What a gift it all is!

I got to photograph many lovely moments this year, but I wanted to narrow down my favorites. It was HARD. But out of the thousands and thousands of images this year, I chose 40 of my favorites; lots of portraits, details, candids, a few engagement sessions. These images capture what I love most about photographing couples in love, and celebrations with their favorite people. I love them all. (Several of these were shot by my talented second shooters!)

What a year. So thankful for all the couples I’ve worked with, and their families. So classy, so kind, so servant hearted and wonderful to work with. They make me love this job. Also for the amazing vendor teams who worked together to make these days happen. Photographers get to show off the photos, but we are just one little part of a large team of talented creatives who pull off these beautiful weddings.
